At first, i would strongly disagree with above statement.
How can i still be
calm and not reactive to shity growing traffic day by day, that even after
leaving my house an hour prior for 10 km to Office i get in late.
But, by being reactive and angry 😡 we've gained nothing but mental disorder, anxiety issues that lead to chronic illness.
By shouting in traffic and blowing non Stop horns, you join rest of the people going through same situation, and it might make you feel relieved 😌 that your frustration came out.
But in long run you're programming your mind that it's natural be reactive if situation is not in your favour.
There is great saying in Japan that "everything is great and perfect in the world. If you don't feel so, then go ahead fix it. Don't just crib about it.
Hence, we should rather look for things that are in our control.
Traffic indeed is not in control, (unless you've got superpower ✨ to make your way clean by making disappear folks🙊 and get your destination within few minutes😜)
Look for alternatives, like taking other routes, using public transport if none works then play calming and relaxing 🎵 that really helps.
